Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions: 

1. All Contracts made by Paterson Stoves & Chimney Systems (PS&CS) shall be deemed to incorporate these terms & conditions.

2. 60% deposit has to be paid before a Stove is ordered and the remaining 40% to be paid on delivery.  Where a lining is to be installed a 50% deposit is required for lining materials before the work commences.

3. Any installation or other work carried out:  50% deposit to be paid before materials are ordered and balance shall be paid in full within two weeks from the date of the invoice.  Where payment is not received by due date the company will charge interest at 3% per month or part month above bank rate.

4. Legal and beneficial ownership of the goods shall remain with PS&CS until full payment has been received.

5. For insurance purposes notwithstanding that the title of the goods might not have passed, the risk in the goods shall pass to the customer upon delivery.

6. If any of the goods supplied by PS&CS prove on inspection to be defective in material, we undertake to refund to the buyer the price of the goods but in no circumstances will liability exceed the cost of replacement or the price paid by the buyer for the goods.

7. Any quotation for works to be carried out or goods to be supplied is made in good faith and based on information available at the time of quoting.  Should, for any reason, it not be possible to carry out works as described in a quotation, PS&CS reserve the right to advise the customer accordingly and change and modify these works as necessary and will discuss any changes with the customer.

8. The company reserves the right to amend its terms and conditions of trade at any time without notice and a full copy of the updated terms and conditions can be obtained from the company by request.

9. These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
